Heat Take Away Home-Court Advantage from Bulls in Play-In Tournament Thriller

Miami Moves to 15-11, Chicago Falls to 10-17

By Sam Smith

The Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls faced off in a pivotal Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament game on Friday night, with the winner securing home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

The Heat came out firing, taking an early lead and never looking back. Tyler Herro led the way with 24 points, while rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. chipped in with 20 points and nine rebounds. The Bulls struggled to keep pace, shooting just 37% from the field and making only eight 3-pointers.

The Heat's balanced attack proved too much for the Bulls, who relied heavily on Zach LaVine (23 points) and DeMar DeRozan (22 points). The Bulls also tied their regular-season low for points in a game at 91.

With the win, the Heat move to 15-11 and will host the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the playoffs. The Bulls fall to 10-17 and will travel to face the Boston Celtics.

The Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament continues on Saturday night with the Brooklyn Nets taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
